OUR STORY

In late 2019, a group of Winneconne parents got together while looking for others for their children to shoot archery with. After some setbacks due to 2020, we were able to certify a group of parent volunteers to teach archery, received a donation of Genesis bows, and began teaching beginner classes to area youth and running community archery events. In 2022, Winneconne Youth Archery incorporated as a registered 501(c)3 non-profit organization.

Among club members, we found many that were looking for opportunities to shoot archery competitively. This led us joining Scholastic 3D Archery, which offers competitive opportunities at regional, state, and national events to youth of all ages.

Through our generous sponsors, we have been able to offer all regular club activities at no cost to our families. The S3DA team has minimal costs for national dues, tournament fees, and a portion of the team jerseys.

As of April 2023, we have had over 260 children through our free 6 week beginner courses. We offer several beginner classes per year, with schedules depending on volunteer availability. Be sure to join our email list in order to get the first notification of any events!
